1 Gather Materials

Materials

2 Filament Wheel Bearing

2A) Using HD-BT0043 place 1x HD-WA0038 (check to make sure the flat side of the washer will face the bearing), then 1x HD-MS0470, then 1x PP-GP0759, then 1x EL-MS0531, then 1x PP-GP0760, then
1x HD-MS0470, then 1x HD-NT0001 on the bolt.

2B) Tighten the nut on the bolt. The bolt should have about one thread sticking out past the nut. The
EL-MS0531 and PP-GP0760 should not move easily separate from each other.

3 Filament Wheel Install

3A) With PP-GP0885 slide PC-BD0109 into the bottom of the jet pack base and attach using
2x HD-BT0140.

3B) Place the Filament Wheel Bearing in the jet pack base making sure the outside bearing is aligned with the groove in the jet pack base.

3C) Secure the Filament Wheel Bearing using PP-GP0888 and 2x HD-BT0039. Be careful to not over tighten the clamp. There should be a small gap between the jet pack base and bearing clamp. Using an allen wrench check that the Filament Wheel Bearing moves freely and is not sticking or caught on anything.

3D) Install PP-GP0887 using 2x HD-BT0185. The tower should sit flat on the jet pack base with the edges of the tower and base close to flush.

3E) Using a 2mm screwdriver insert 20mm HD-TB0007 into the bottom of the jet pack base.

4 Idler Assembly

4A) Grab 1x PP-GP0755, 1x HD-MS0470, 1x HD-BT0256, and 3x HD-WA0038.

4B) Using a poker tool line up the bearing with a washer on both sides of the bearing as shown. Make sure that the flat sides of the washers are facing the bearing.

4C) Add some blue loctite to the end of HD-BT0256 and with HD-WA0038 on the bolt install it in the idler through the bearing.

4D) Grab the jet pack base, the idler, 1x HD-BT0202, and 1x HD-WA0038.

4E) Add some blue loctite to the end of HD-BT0202 and with HD-WA0038 on the bolt install the idler onto the jet pack base. Be careful not to over tighten the bolt. The idler should move freely.

5 Finishing Steps

5A) Grab 1x PP-GP0886 and 2x HD-BT0137.

5B) Attach the cone to the bottom of the jet pack base using the bolts.

5C) Grab 1x PP-GP0761 with a HD-BT0091 bolt heat inserted, 1x PP-GP0647-GRN with a HD-BT0275 bolt heat inserted, 1x HD-WA0038, and 1x HD-MS0471.

5D) Install the PP-GP0761 knob in the tower. Put the spring and then the washer on the
PP-GP0647-GRN knob and install through the idler into the jet pack base.

5E) Using an allen wrench check to make sure the filament wheel still moves freely.
