1 Gather tools and components for Assembly

Components Required

  • X Carriage with inserts
  • X Carriage guide
  • Double bearing holder
  • Single bearing holder
  • M3x12 SHCS
  • M3 washer

Tools Required

  • 2.5 mm Allen Driver
2.5 mm Allen Driver

2 Install Bearing Holders

Install the double bearing holder and single bearing holder using M3 x 12 SHCS and M3 Washers.

Take note of the double bearing holder orientation. The end of the bearing with the step should be on the opposite side of the notch on the X Carriage.

Do not tighten the bolts all the way down. The bearings will be tightened later and must wiggle at this step.

3 Install X Carriage Guide

Using 4 M3x12 SHCS and washers, install X Carriage guide as shown.

Tighten bolts all the way down.
