Take the LGX extruder [PP-MP0336] and remove the two screws that are holding the heat sink to the extruder body.
Set the two screws and heat sink a side as these will be used in a later step.
Now remove the top right screw that is holding the motor in place. Once the screw is removed rotate the motor 180 degrees so that the motor wire connector is on the bottom side of the assembly.
Then secure the motor using the top right screw.
Take the hot block [PP-MP0338] and place the flat side on the table, make sure "Slice Engineering" is right side up.
Then hand thread the dark grey part from the heat break [PP-MP0340] into the hot block. Now tighten with a 9mm wrench.
Now take the hot block hardware kit [HD-MS0100] and follow [reference#1] to assemble the heat break and hot block assembly.
Using the four cylindrical posts, slide one into each corner of the hot block.
Now slide the silver washer over the heat break followed by the spring, then slide the heat break cap over the heat break.
Once the heat break is attached to the hot block, align the four posts with the four holes on the bottom side of the ACE cold block [PP-MP0342] then slide the heat break and hot block assembly into the ACE cold block. Make sure the thermistor and heat cartridge holes are on the opposite side of the cold block!
Now place the filament guide collar around the top of the heat break.
Then use the torque tool and the two small screw from the hot block hardware kit [HD-MS0100] to secure the hot block to the ACE cold block. Torque these screw to 0.12 Nm.
Hand thread the micro swiss nozzle [PP-MP0416] into the hot block, then tighten using the nozzle torque wrench.
Then align the ACE cold block with the extruder body [PP-MP0336] and secure the ACE cold block to the extruder body.
Find the motor wire that's a part of the Meteor wire harness [AS-CB0209] and connect it to the extruder motor.
Then slide the heat cartridge and thermistor wires into the hot block, make sure its on the back side of the extruder assembly. (Motor on the left side)
Use one of the silver SHCS from the hot block hardware kit [HD-MS0100] to secure the heat cartridge and thermistor wires to the hot block.
Now flip the extruder assembly over so that the front is facing up and secure the ground wire to the front side of the hot block using the other silver SHCS from the hot block hardware kit.
Remove the top right screw from the backside of the motor. Set the screw off to the side as it will not be needed for the final assembly.
Take the Meteor mount - 285mm [PP-GP0725] and slide the case fan wires through the bottom channel in the Meteor mount.
Then attach the Meteor mount to the backside of the extruder assembly using 1x M3x30 SHCS [HD-BT0187] with M3 washer [HD-WA0038] to attach the Meteor mount to the motor and 1x M3x12 SHCS [HD-BT0039] with a M3 washer [HD-WA0038] for the backside of the Meteor mount.
Now attach the case fan to the ACE cold block using 2x M3x10 SHCS [HD-BT0005], make sure the wires are at the end of the case fan wire channel in the Meteor mount.
Align the Meteor fan duct [PP-GP0726] with the extruder body and Meteor mount.
Then use 3x M3x8 BHCS [HD-BT0137] with M3 washers [HD-WA0038] to secure the fan duct to the Meteor mount as well as the extruder body.
Once the Meteor fan duct is attached align the blower fan, from the Meteor wire harness, with the Meteor fan duct and secure using 1x M3x20 BHCS [HD-BT0171] with a M3 washer [HD-WA0038]
